NUTRITIONAL DISEASES

Nutritional diseases are diseases in humans that are caused by inadequate nutrients in foods. In other words, nutritional diseases are commonly associated with severe malnutrition. They may be caused by nutrient deficiencies or excess or imbalance of the nutrients. These diseases may include developmental abnormalities that can be prevented by diet.
